Energy Wise Homes Inc. is a family run business based in East Dorset Vermont. The company is owned and operated by Ted Taylor of East Dorset.
Energy Wise Homes was born out of a need. Vermonters, and everyone else, are now at a point in history where energy efficiency is more important than ever. The challenges of today are becoming clear. Our happy little Vermont homes are being challenged by rapidly growing, world-wide energy shortages and a global environment increasingly imperiled by the burning of oil. We seek to build awareness of this impending crisis among the local population and acquaint people with the many ways that each of us can take control and become part of the solution.
Our home energy audit program, brings today’s energy technology to yesteryear’s homes and is paid for by reducing tomorrow’s utility bills. The program was designed to help home owners and home buyers improve the energy efficiency of their homes. An audit identifies energy-efficiency upgrades, estimates their costs and savings, and shows the group of improvements that everyone can afford because the energy savings exceed the costs.
